Professor Dato’ Dr Azemi is the Executive Chairman at Binaskil Academy. His academic and professional journey is distinguished by a series of prestigious appointments and recognitions. Notably, Professor Dato’ Dr Azemi held the Kuok Foundation Professorial Chair in Food Science and Technology, marking him as a leading figure in the field. This role underscored his significant impact and was complemented by his recognition as a Distinguished Professor at the university.

With over 30 years of experience in academia, Professor Dato’ Dr Azemi has served as both Dean and Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia, fostering educational excellence and innovation. His leadership extended to Universiti Kuala Lumpur, where, as Deputy President, he was instrumental in transforming the institution into a hub for higher TVET education. His outstanding contributions have been recognized with the title of Professor Emeritus from Universiti Kuala Lumpur and the prestigious Tokoh Pendidik MARA award (2018).

A sought-after keynote speaker, Professor Dato’ Dr Azemi's insights are regularly featured at various national and international conferences, further establishing his thought leadership in the field. He currently serves as the Executive Chairman at Binaskil Academy, guiding the training and consulting projects with private and public sectors.

Professor Dr Azemi has also received several international awards in recognition of his expertise and scientific contributions, such as:
i.The United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) Cochrane Award.
ii.The United Kingdom Commonwealth Award.
iii.Japanese Scientific and Promotion of Science Award.
iv.Asian Development Bank Award.
v.Senior Molton Award for best research paper in Food Engineering (United Kingdom).

Professor Dato’ Dr Azemi holds a PhD in Food Technology from the University of New South Wales, Australia, obtained in 1985.

Dr. Affaro Affandy, the Chief Executive Officer at Binaskil Academy, spearheads the strategic management and development of training and consulting practices within the organization. 

His extensive expertise encompasses the design and management of high-impact training programs tailored for both public and private sectors. Dr. Affaro's deep engagement in consulting and strategic development projects spans crucial sectors including food security, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, healthcare, higher education, upward mobility, entrepreneurship, and Halal industries.

With a solid academic foundation as a former faculty member at the International Islamic University Malaysia, Dr. Affaro has also been appointed as a Consultant Fellow at Universiti Malaysia Pahang. His role extends internationally as he serves as a visiting lecturer and consultant at various universities both in Malaysia and abroad, bringing a global perspective to his work.

Dr. Affaro earned his PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the University College London, United Kingdom in 2012, specializing in the manufacturing and production of next-generation vaccines. This background places him at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies and processes essential for advancing innovation in technology-based industries.

His leadership at Binaskil Academy is marked by a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects that deliver substantial educational and developmental impacts.
